Page 47 is obviously about Area 51! Riley says something about Area 51, Roswell happened in 1947, and at the end of the movie, the President asks Ben about discussing page 47, and Ben says, "that would be LIFE-ALTERING, Sir." Which might mean, time travel or aliens, but most-likely aliens because of all the other clues. It also might be a whole bundle of a lot of things all together. Who knows? That's just my take on it.

UNLESS someone has proof to the contrary, it's VERY possible that even the producers and writers had no idea what NT3 would be about...they might still not, i don't think it's even in pre-production yet....

Atlantis must be a possiblety, Sadusky says: what did Gates find now, Atlantis. Just saying could be a small clue about what to come. The plot could be that the first natives wasn´t from Asia, but refurgees fleeing from Atlantis with boats filled with gold and so on.... Therebye making it a US national treasure.
shareFirst: The series is called "NATIONAL Treasure." Not "American Tresure", or "European Treasure" but National Treasure. So if the writers wants to have Ben and crew find a lost treasure in Ireland, England, China, Russia, whatever, I would be cool with it.
Second: I like to see them mentioning "The Illuminati" in either the third or possible fourth film (perhaps hint in the third, and used as a key villian in the fourth film, perhaps). This would mean an increase importance to Agent Sadusky. Basically have Sadusky and a newly minted Freemason Ben (I think he best examplifies the Freemason ideals, plus Sadusky could vouch for me) having to beat "The Illuminati" to a legendary treasure hidden somewhere in France/England. To increase Sadusky's role, leave out Ben's parents.
National Treasure implies America. This is the NATION of the United States of America. They will keep it here in America because they did a great job with the idea in the first two movies.

shareOne reason the movie would suck if it were a foreign treasure is because these are all US history experts. They are not archeologists like Indy nor are they world history experts. Plus, theyll probably keep the same formula with Ben's family somehow being involved, I would hope they dont though.

...The plot of a potential NT3 was probably left vague and ambiguous in NT2 for a reason -- and that reason being the the creative team probably had no idea what NT3 would be about; or they had several ideas but didn't want to commit to any one of them (lest they change their minds).
Has it occured to anyone that the next movie could be about Area 51 without actually including any aliens? Who knows what's really in there...

Its the number of pictures he's taken, as we are viewing it through the screen of his cellphone. Now-- I will agree/ admit that it is a bit coincidental that 51 is the number of the pic being taken of page 47, granted. Page 47 in a tome that thick would likely be pretty early in American history, wouldn't it? Perhaps even relating to pre-US history. My guess is that they are going to focus in on something much further back in American history, and then link it to Roswell and Area 51 somehow. Just too much hinting at it with 51 being the pic # and the 1947/ page 47 issue there.
shareStrange or scary as this may sound, or of course you may just think Im barking mad (Im not), but a year ago I was among a group of friends, or so I thought, when I saw one of them laugh and the face of a different person *also known to me "spilled out" from her. Then one of them stood in fornt of me (this friend is well overweight) but the person I took to be X said "Im a chameleon, look, stretchy trousers!" Since then, Ive had another friend, again very well known to me, came to my house for us to go out and have lunch. This time, she sat down and my boy cat dived straight inside her jacket! He would just NEVER do that, or do it as fast as that. I looked at her and thought, there's something not right here. In the next 10secs she asked me this;
"How do you know it's not me?"
I met a complete stranger in town. She seemd to know and be upset about me whereas I had never met her before in my life. She literally put down her beer and walked out. I sent her a message saying how rude that was (etc) and the message I got back was as if from someone who was laughing about the event. It had a certain good humour about it saying "see you soon Sally" and clearly did NOT come from the person whose newly acquired mob no. I'd been given by the stranger. Another time, I walked into a bathroom somewhere and a coloured lass said Hi. I found myself saying Hi back as though I knew her, but I also knew that even if she thought she knew me, I'd never seen her before.
I get wierd little "edits" to message Im sent from all over the place. eg. one from a gardening customer said "jump over here".

When I was in bed, one of my teeth dissolved and reformed. It really happened.
The truth seems to be that human evolution is already well into metamorphin power rangers territory. It all sounds somewhere between SO EXCITING, and positively terrifying. People will not be who you assume them to be and there's a reason for that. It's to do with death, and "re-incarnation". I don't have all the answers, hardly any in fact, but all this is complete truth I promise.
Personally, re NT2, I'd like to know what is on that ladder right at the very point where the flyover Mt Rushmore starts? There are several men in a line, one or more has a bag over his head and his hands tied behind his back. There is also a Thing on the ladder which seems to have multiple white-tipped legs.
There are also human/primate skulls on the ledge at the foot of the ladder.
Dont take my word for granted. Check it for yourself then wonder if I am crazy or just a trained CCTV Operator with a very sharp eye and a good LCD screen!

What would you have to do to prove that you can/have time-travelled?
3yrs ago I moved into my flat. During bad weather a tile was blown from the roof. It landed on the grass which, if left would have gone yellow, so I moved it to the back wall and leaned it there. The next morning it was back on the exact spot it had been the day before, and my neighbours hadnt touched it. In Sept 08 I was watching Price Drop TV. I'd watched the channel for 2-3 years? and in that time I'd never seen them use any other measure of remaining stock other than QUANTITY LEFT. On this one day, I suddenly realised they were using PERCENT LEFT. It wasn't a VT within a demo/presentation, it was the actual item being sold with the outdated Stock Indicator. I tried to contact the company to ask why they'd switched it for one day and got no sort of answer. I wanted a factual response but sadly just got a "can't be arsed to check" reply. But yes thanks, I did get a photograph to prove it!
So did I time-travel? Oh come on, even involuntarily it has to be worth a shot at a claim! If you could go back to a specified point in time, where, or rather when would you go to? I'd go back and tell my friend to take a different route home, and I'd go back and tell another not to be so feckin stupid, take your heart medication! :-)
