Clothes still look wearable in 2020?

No? I don’t see any big shifts in fashion from 2006 until 2020. Do you?

Just watched again since it came out. Looks pretty much the same to me.

I feel like we are not seeing the same cultural changes between decades the same way we did from decades of the previous century. The 70’s, 80’s and maybe even the 90’s feel distinct, unlike the 00’s and 10’s, which feel like they all run together and feel aesthetically similar.

Been feeling like this for a WHILE now. Anyone have any ideas as to why this has happened?

You can look at the flapper era, and see distinct trends. Greasers of the 50's, 60's James Bond/Mad Men culture. 70's Disco styles, tc. After that, it becomes increasingly more difficult to identify. . .which is really, really interesting.

I can only guess. Maybe living in an online world let’s us see everything through a modern lens whereas the 80’s and before culturally developed organically without much outside influence of easily being able to observe previous decades.
