Seasons 6 and 7 are pretty dark and depressing due to Order 66

I love how the last episodes of Season 7 start playing that one song from Revenge of the Sith where Ahsoka is defending herself from bunch of blaster fire from the clones on the star destroyer.

then Echo and his cyborg body thats pretty messed up. pretty much foreshadowing what Anakin will look like when he's Darth Vader

What else could the final seasons be, considering the source material?

The only question re the final seasons was would they be successfully dark, or unsuccessfully dark. I say: Successful.

well at the end of season 5, the jedi except for Anakin, they all gave up on Ahoska during that stupid trial and they should have known about what Barris was doing in the city and stop obsessing over Ventress.

and in my opinion, Bo Katan was way out of line and assumed too much thinking Ahsoka got involved with whatever business that Bo Katan was doing in Mandalore.

Ahsoka had nothing to do with whatever was going on in Mandalore anyway so why frikkin bother using Ahsoka?

I think the purpose of the trial and the setup and all that was to set up Asokha's upcoming survival of Order 66. They were breaking her ties with Anakin and the Jedi Order, showing that she wasn't part of the general decline and fall, making it seem right that she would survive when so few others did.
