I watched this film last night and I really liked it The special effects were great. At first I thought the lion was CGI, but it turns out it was real. There were a lot of CGI scenes like the ship sinking.

I love the way it ended with the lion disappearing and Pi as a grown man recollecting the past. Great film!

It was a tiger.

I love this film, too - in fact I was shocked how much, as I had earlier read and adored the novel and imagined it to be more or less unfilmable.

It also happened to be the only 3D movie where the format actually enhanced the film rather than giving me a headache!
