I cannot understand what anyone is saying apart from Morgan Freeman

This movie is on TV over here in the UK on BBC1. Anyway, I can't understand half of what it is they are all mumbling about? I've had to turn on the subtitles, and it really spoils it because half the time I'm just reading the subtitles and not watching the film. Casey Affleck sounds like he's doing a bad impersonation of Al Pacino in "The Godfather".

Funny, I'm not American and had no trouble at all hearing and understanding Casey Affleck.

I can't be the only one who has no trouble understanding Casey Affleck, even when he speaks quieter than usual.

The only time I ever needed subtitles for the USA was in The Wire - the slang combined with the mumbling was a little much.

I understood everyone clearly except for Affleck, he's like this in every movie, just mumbles his lines.
