Fired The Wrong One

It was clearly the packaging.

Should have sacked the fella.

reply

Agreed.

The two that were responsible for the packaging must have excellent business plans.

reply

I'm glad they've dispensed with the charade that he doesn't see the business plans until the interviews. It was pretty obvious he saw them right form the start (and sacked people accordingly).

reply

That's always been the case, to be fair.

There's usually one candidate that either makes a massive mistake early on, or makes a succession of small ones most weeks. When Alan Sugar refuses to fire somebody for making a catastrophic mistake early on, or keeps them in despite them messing up and getting in the final 3 every week, you know they are going to be there for most of the process, if not all of it.

The favourites to win aren't the candidates who perform well on each task. They're the ones who he keeps refusing to fire. Because they are the ones who have the best business plans.
