I got a kick out of it. Much like "A Beautiful Mind", the true premise is very well-guarded until towards the end and comes as an interesting surprise. I'm surprised that so many people pan it, but then again, too many people act like theater-going plankton who rate anything a 10 if it's Disney, 90% CGI or they're blowing sh** up. Some setwork may be thin, but let's see anyone try to make a set with a full-size chunk of fuselage in the middle of a downtown park. I dare 'em. They did alright; heck, they even had David Morse in it, and it's been eons since I've seen him.
I don't like billion-dollar epics. I don't like big names. Just make a movie, tell a story. All else is box-office-smash tripe for the bloated masses. I'm just getting tired of the Chris Pratt puppy-mill...sorry, Chris, I met your dad and even talked with him many times (without knowing he was your dad), but Hollywood is over-using you. You're otherwise a heck of a guy and I wish you well and may your father rest in peace, he was a great guy.
