So who actually LIKED the movie?

There seems to be a lot of heat going against it. I really enjoyed it - each cast member involved did a very good job, and the story was engaging.

I liked it much better than the "serious" superhero movies that are out there. The scene (actually a youtube video) where Hancock throws the whale about a mile out to sea and it smashes the sailboat always makes me laugh though I know it shouldn't. The production team may have gotten the idea in part from Superman 3, where kryptonite makes Supes morally wicked instead of physically weak. He straightens the leaning tower of pisa and in one scene is shown getting drunk at a bar flicking peanuts at the mirror backdrop (they explode toward it like bullets). Anyway, it was a good concept with entertaining performances and a nice plot twist. Very entertaining!

I like the jokes, the love story, Jason Bateman's character, the relationships and the love story.

It's a funny movie that could have been better. One gets the impression that the story was created just for the interracial relationship in the film. A conspiracy theorist could have a field day with it.

After all... tomorrow is another day.
