So who actually LIKED the movie?

There seems to be a lot of heat going against it. I really enjoyed it - each cast member involved did a very good job, and the story was engaging.

"You were deceived."

I thought it was OK

I liked it. It was better than I expected, and I'd like to see a sequel. Some of the SFX were disappointing, but it was good overall.

Evil finally escaped Jordan's sight. It hid inside him.

I enjoyed it at times, but as a whole it left me thinking this could be so much stronger.

I like it a lot. Not a story like that is used much at all. Seems like I remember the super heroes becoming hobos once in the comic books. Acting was very good. Hancock was pretty believable. Good looking chick. What could be wrong?

Love the first 2/3. The third act is just okay. I thought the twist was cool in the moment it happened but after that the movie loses a lot of steam. The idea that they become mortal when together and Theron's unnecessary "woman scorned" routine just seemed silly.

Back off! ... Way off!

I like it as a whole. it's a cool superhero movie, it's different.

about their mortal-immortal thing, why people always saw it as silly? i thought it's cool. well first of all that's the rule about their existence. second, it explains why there's no other super human left except for the two.

the answer is (according to me), that super human race is just a simple human like us, the only difference is that they're immortal. like normal human, they have feelings, and of course love. but there's the consequence, if they found their soulmate and starts living together, they'll become mortal, getting old then eventually die.

why the other accepted this rule and die, while Mary and Hancock doesn't? They did accept it (according to Mary when she told Hancock their origin). Afterall they're made to each other, attracts to their other half. They destined to meet and then to die. Mary is the one who doesn't want Hancock to die. In the end she tells him that he's made to protect the human. Well, maybe she's just love her current life by saying that. But when she left him 80 years before, it's an act of love, she love him so that she didn't want him to die.

At the end of the movie Hancock seems to agreed with Mary, so he left her go, and maybe he realized now that he can do much to protect human race.

Yes, i kinda want the sequel...
