I downloaded this because it looked great and the reviewer said "Greater than Saw!"
Needles to say it was the biggest heap of *beep* I've ever seen. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Actually, an extremely, really awful movie. Yes, the needles were gross, but this film was a total snore-fest. Are we supposed to believe this was a farm family? Animal or vegetable?

Totally agree. I'm blown away that it has a 5.2 score (Jan 2013) when you take into consideration other b-horror films which have been lambasted by critics (and idiot users on IMDB). The acting is below par, the story drags its heels and there is zero suspense. You don't feel compelled to sympathize with any of the characters because they are pretty much cardboard cutouts.
As for people who say this is a "good" vampire film compared to the absolute trash that has come out recently are moronic. I'm NOT a fan of Twilight and in my opinion the last "good" vampire film was Nosferatu. These days vampires are portrayed as sensitive and emotional middle-upper class white people.
F everything about this film. F the Butcher Brothers and their terrible franchise. It is films like this that make me lose hope for the horror genre.
It isn't subjective when I say this film is trash.
