Loved it. I found it totally fresh and a nice change to all the stuff that was out at the time.
TBH when I read the back of the box I expected torture porn and then once I got a handle on what was going on I enjoyed it and I enjoy it more with each viewing.

I realize that this didn't have a lot to work with budget wise but it would have been nice to have a couple of decent on screen kills rather than the same ol' bloody aftermath shots.
I am not a "gorehound". I dislike those so called "torture porn" movies that seem to be everywhere. On the other hand, if you're going to make a movie involving abduction and killing of people, it would help maintain interest if some kills are actually shown.
The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) was far less gory than most "horror" movies today but I consider that one of the true greats of the industry because that film really messes with your psyche and doesn't throw buckets of blood at you.
