Disney Princess

The thing that really didn't work for me were the 'love' scenes - the big-eyed, cutesy, shy, I wanna be your girlfriend scenes belonged in a pre-teen Disney cartoon - if they belong anywhere. I would not have been the least bit surprised if Alita had burst in to song and some bunnies had hopped in to the scene.
Also, whilst I'm having a grumble, the scene on top of the building where every strand of her hair is lovingly digitised and waving languorously in the breeze - whilst his hardly moves at all. I’ve seen this in other animated films and it’s probably one of those things that’s technically difficult and the bragging rights go to the team with the most animated hair. But just because you can doesn’t mean you should.

"Ian Malcolm: Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether they could, they didn't stop to think if they should."
