Boy did this not age well.
The Wachowskis got it so close and yet so far. Britain today lives under an oppressive, censorious government and its propaganda arm the BBC, only instead of far-right, it is far-left. Groups like LGBT and Muslim migrants are the protected classes while conservative, native Britons are harassed and jailed.
It seems the far left in Britain created exactly what they feared in this movie, only I doubt they have the self-perspective to see so.
