The African-American girl in the school

This is my first time watching this movie. I just watched it today on LIFETIME and I have to say this movie was ok, I'll give it a 6 1/2. Anyways, I have a question about the African-American girl that vanessa befriended later on in the movie. First of all, is she the only black girl in the school? Also, how come she wasn't popular she is very pretty and she looks like she could be popular.

Just because someone is pretty doesn't mean they are automatically popular. I have a few friends who are well known celebrities. I grew up with a well known child star. She was very pretty and popular in Hollywood but when she came back home in between filmings she was bullied something awful.

I had another friend who was very pretty and bullied. She was called Barbie girl because people said she looked like a Barbie doll.

People are bullied for all reason and it even the most "perfect" people. No matter what people will always find a flaw in someone.

She was really nice. Vanessa should have dropped those girls and just be friends with Emily (the African American girl). She eventually did though which was good.
