It's a movie. They're people. Who cares if they're white, black, brown, purple, or aquamarine. Why even bring it up at all? Just sit back and relax. Don't stress out over the "darkness" of the actors. If it upsets you that much, stay at home.
Just enjoy it for what it is: entertainment.
I agree with bodk7 and monsterman865, and everyone who agrees with them. Almost all movies, music, and television today suck. My thought on the token black/white character in a movie is: How do you know they didn't just cast them for their acting ability in the first place? I am aware that more than likely, many movies do have, in their scripts, that the character needs to be black, or needs to be white. But, unless there is a black or white joke in the movie itself, its possible someone auditioned for a part, and they happened to be black, and they got the part, but every other black person who auditioned for a part was not as good as the white person. Or vice-versa.

shareBET isn't a racist channel. It's a stupid channel, but not a racist one. Anyone is welcomed to be on the channel, it just has to relate to hip hop, r&b, and/or gospel. They have promotional specials for majority-white casted movies (Silent Hill, and The Descent), they regularly showcase Latin Americans. Heck, they even debuted N-Sync songs on their music countdown show. N-freakin'-Sync! And Paul Wall is practically the channel's posterboy right now. You don't have to be black to enjoy the channel. You just have to be interested in black culture. Same as CMT with country music. They're still crappy channels, but not racist.

i mostly stick to "white" movies and i watch some "black" movies.that are really worth my time..but this movie looks cool...but im not going to see it..not my kinda movie.but yeah i jus came onto these message boards today liek after a week and i see race has a big part surrounding this movie.oh well
