the two girls who died in the tanning beds for those who don't know. :P

I thought that they were really hot BUT I don't think I've ever met or seen someone as dumb as these two were

I mean seriously they were the biggest bimbos ever! and it was partly there own fault that they died because Ashley took her drink in when the guy told her not to and then ashlyn turned up the thermostat. and when the beds started heating up you could tell by the way they squirmed that they could feel the heat rising but of course they waited till the beds got to 300 to try and get out and it was too late

if I ever went in one of those things if I could feel the heat rising I would be out of there so fast. also when the plank of wood fell all they had to do was push it out and they could open the beds and escape their horrible death.

yes I kno it's only a movie but these two were so unbelievably stupid that it was pathetic.

what are other peoples thoughts??

i found it sad a highschool senior would have implants...you're not even done growing yet, wait til they're done to be that stupid. :P

i realize the actress was probably in her 20s but you see highschool kids getting implants all the time anyway....so sad.

I envy you. I've met several.

But as others have said, they were supposed to be like two sandwiches short of a picnic with not much going for them in the brain department. Usually I dislike these sort of characters, however they didn't bother me too much in FD3 because, like others have said, they at least had good intentions and hearts.

The blonde one had nicer breasts.

I was disappointed we didn't get to see more of the brunette's lower half. For all we know she could have the blonde beat in that department!

I find when someone's ditzy and a bitch I get pissed off with their ditzyness and end up hating it but when someone's ditzy but actually really lovely (like these two characters were supposed to be) then sometimes it can be quite endearing. Obviously they still did stupid things but I would argue so do most people.
I also agree with a previous poster that they must've been nice for Ian to speak up their funeral because when they invited Wendy to go for the tan with them, Ian and Erin kind of laughed at them (not in a mean spirited way though I don't think) and they obviously wouldn't have been in the same social groups but if they had been horrible people then he wouldn't have cared that much.

Intelligence has nothing to do with someones personality. I know people that are very intelligent but horrible and I know people that are unintelligent but lovely. It can really go either way.

Exactly! I actually loved the fact that they made the characters nice and didn't just make them the typical hot, dumb, mean girls. They were just genuinely nice girls who just happen to like the things they do. It just goes to show you can never judge someone by heir appearance or their interests.

Just because someone is interested in tanning and make up doesn't mean they're shallow and bitchy, maybe it just means that it makes them feel confident or good about themselves!

Ditzyness doesn't make someone a bad person, just like intelligence doesn't make someone a good person!

Mercedes McNab would have been totally perfect as an Ashley/Ashlyn if she were slightly younger. What a lost opportunity.

I think this one has the highest number of unlikeable characters. Not totally a bad thing, because they were pretty entertaining.

This is also the last entry with some pretty good acting. Not that the acting was awful in 4 and 5. Just mostly bland/uninspired.

They were just there for me. Very underdeveloped, like most of 3's characters, but at least these two were fairly kind

There was an alternative version, but they died either way.

In the other version, the brown-haired girl (think it's Ashlyn) does gets out on time while the blonde is burning. As soon as Ashlyn reaches out and tries to get her friend out of the tanning bed, she gets electrocuted when touching her.
