Jennifer Connelly in the lead role instead of Demi Moore.

I love this movie but I just got the feeling that Demi was trying to channel Jennifer or something!

Weird I know.

Shades of "Dark Water"? The big difference is that Connelly can act. Moore...not so much.

I just viewed the movie and didn't see any terrible acting on Demi's part; she was convincing in the role. And I don't see Connelly being some giant by comparison.

I agree that Demi was fine but Connelly would have been better.
