Two more seasons!
Just read in my paper that DM will have two more seasons -- season 8 will be broadcast in the US late 2017/early 2018 and season 9 (which is reported to be the very last, again) in 2020.

Same here, pleased. I'm very late in watching Doc Martin (no TV, no streaming, so I wait for shows to hit DVD and get them free from my library), but this has turned out to be one of my favorite shows. It's going to be hard to wait so long to see it again, but I think it'll be worth it. 🙂
