I get what they were going for - the usual "man is stupid, realizes what he has, changes so they can live happily ever after".
But realistically, they'd done nothing to make Ari's wife likable and sympathetic or anything to make Ari seem like a bad husband/father.

i agree, shes rotten and spoiled and became very bitter when they separated briefly.
i hated how she always made an issue about making their money back (yes it was her money i know), yet she hates his work ethic and always wants him home and wants him to miss work for therapy even more than once a week (unrealistic)
it's ok for her to kiss a co worker (acting) yet she flips out when ari hugs a colleague bc he just realized he got the nfl gig (which was a dream of his)....she always came off like only her interests and life was important
that being said ari isn't perfect and i agree with his wife that ari should have spent more time with his kids, he could done better in that area but he does love his children deeply, he got jona in the private school, his wife didnt do a damn thing about it, i thought it was cruel and heartless for her to leave him just bc of that...she is the epitome of a bitch
