Incredible film

Just finished watching Sicko (2007), directed by Michael Moore. This powerful documentary details the problems with the American health care system, comparing it to other nations and features people sharing their personal experiences with treatment in the US. The film is, at times, eye-opening, shocking, disturbing, and devastating. Moore brings his own personality to the film and often manages to add some humour. The film is always compelling and captivating. Sicko is informative, enlightening, and entertaining, an absolute must see. I rate Sicko a perfect 10/10.

It is a great movie that many powerful people tried to silence. I remember my local theater dropped the movie at the very last minute. It seemed very suspicious that this happened so I inquired about it and the manager(who I knew well) told me that that entire chain of theaters dropped the movie at the last minute, because somehow they were tied to some powerful insurance company. Censorship!!! This movie should have been in wide release after Moore's previous film which made over 100 million dollars. These people had something to hide and still today our voices are silenced about this subject.

Unfortunately it's been a while since I've seen this. I remember it had a lot of good points, but blatently omitted facts and alternative perspectives too. Moore has an agenda, and that can't be discounted. Like most things, there are two sides.
