if its to be a sequel to the series as Michael Knight in the Devon Miles role with some younger new guy as the main character
if a reboot then still in there in some sort of extended cameo (like the had him in the crappy Baywatch movie & Dirk Benedict/Dwight Shultz in the A-Team movie)
the benefits for a sequel is you dont piss off the fans and can have the Hoff in a major role as Michael Knight ..the negatives are the awful 2008 series was already a sequel, it has to adhere to the established canon, and the new guy cant be the iconic Michael Long/Knight character, also itd have to se set present day not the 80s (with a reboot its the opposite of those)
