shareAmerican, monolingual (but with some German, French, Italian and Spanish vocabulary), but love Chinese and Japanese films -- ALL film, really, no matter what the original language, IN the original language, subtitled.
Maybe I (and those like me) don't get every little cultural allusion, just as anyone who hasn't seen GoodFellas or The Godfathers or grew up Italian-American can't get every allusion in "The Sopranos" ... but we get enough to enjoy them.
--We should have shotguns for this kind of deal.
