Ever in a movie. Flor basically wouldn’t let her daughter have friends or go to a private school because they it wasn’t “Mexican” enough. She was a terrible mother and I love the movie doesn’t show what happens to John who carries this movie on his back. What a joke.
shareI really enjoyed the movie up until that awful ending. It made no sense and the way they built up the character it would have been out of character for her to ignore her daughter’s needs. I did love her character though, however we are left hanging. Very disappointing ending. Adam Sandler’s character should have definitely left with her. True love is a rarity and his wife was a narcissistic and mean individual.
