I agree it is fantastic, just finished Season 7. Happily there is a Season 8 and hopefully a few more seasons after. It was disappointing but we see Marie is a MANipulator and Will was a sitting duck suffering with guilt and anxiety. The shift in his character was frustrating to watch but as we've seen many times in this fabulous show, the many facets of people's personalities are revealed when different stimuli are introduced. Great response, June has definitely become a much darker character, the hell she has endured has certainly chipped away at her humanity. This is the part I can’t understand. Technically she has to rights to baby Nicole. Exactly, looks are irrelevant, fertility is all that matters in Gilead. Coming from a highly ranked family also helps. Yes this movie was masterful and the twists and turns were unexpected and revealing. Highly recommended. I really enjoyed the movie up until that awful ending. It made no sense and the way they built up the character it would have been out of character for her to ignore her daughter’s needs. I did love her character though, however we are left hanging. Very disappointing ending. Adam Sandler’s character should have definitely left with her. True love is a rarity and his wife was a narcissistic and mean individual. I still have a sneaking suspicion this is all for show. She seems more invested in the relationship than he does. I wish I could predict a positive ending but I do not trust Noah's motives. I think he is in it for some free publicity. That is actually an interesting thought. Many of the themes especially that of a dystopian society and infertility figure prominently in both. I know this is an old thread but I just saw this movie and Dana Hill was a real highlight. What a wonderful job she did and who can forget her from European Vacation and other 80's roles. I didn't realize she had passed- Rest in peace. View all replies >
