PUA truths

What I find interesting about this show, besides it's lovely humor, is how openly and directly it tells some truths about the whole 'women vs. men'-relationship and attraction situation.

Charlie knows this stuff because he's a natural alpha (and so is Charlie), but it's amazing how much it reveals about women's nature and psychology, having Alan be the 'straight man' (the typical simp beta soy male) to the 'joke' (which is actually truth).

Whenever Charlie explains to Jake or even Alan about how to handle women, he's actually pretty much truthful about it. A lot of this stuff happens in the small kitchen talks.

Of course then women had to step in and ruin this by making this just another 'romance crap' instead of funny situation comedy that has a lot of truth to it. But that happens to every TV show.

I wonder if there's -any- TV show out there that does NOT have a wedding in it. Every show has to have weddings, because women love weddings, and TV needs to pander to women.

For example, when Charlie tells Alan about the girl Jake has a crush on seeing Jake dancing with the pretties girl in the room, the girl would be very attracted to Jake.

This is called 'preselection' in PUA circles, and absolutely works (women pretend to be sooo advanced, but they're really just simple, predictable female apes, just like anyone in these situations).

Nothing makes a woman more instantly wet than seeing a man being intimate with a really good-looking woman. Except maybe the sound of a Lamborghini.

One of the last true guy shows. I miss it.

The show was funny because it was about an alcoholic womanizer who has to take in his square AF brother and his nephew. It's basically a twist on the odd couple. Charlie's Alpha male was a perfect contrast to Alan's Beta male persona.

Does this show reflect reality? Absolutely not. But why should it? It was a great escapist show for men who can't be Charlie but feel like Alan at certain times in their lives. This show was definitely targeting a male demographic.

When Chuck Lorre and Sheen banged heads it resulted in the abortion that was the Ashton Kutcher years.
