There are so many episodes your forgot about compared to the ones you love.

I'm binging because Roku has the episodes for free and I don't know how long this will last.

But I am amazed at how many episodes I don't remember, of a show that I watched religiously.

Yet there are certain episodes I know better than to watch again, like Season 3 episode 16, One Night.
It may not have been as messed up as I remember, but I'm not going to find out.

I've been watching it on Roku too. Even though I've seen all of the episodes, I also can't seem to remember them all.

I absolutely love Cold Case. Every single episode, IMO, is fantastic! My favorites, however, are Best Friends, A Perfect Day, The Letter and Revenge.

I know I've seen One Night but I can't remember it offhand and look forward to seeing it again.

I watch two episodes a day. Best Friends, A Perfect Day and The Letter are fairly recent watches and I agree, three of the best I've seen. At the time, I thought The Letter was the oldest case since it went back to 1932, I believe. One of today's episodes was from 1929.

Believe it or not, 1929 isn't even the oldest case it seems. I just looked it up and one named Torn is the oldest, from 1919!

Such a great show! I'm grateful that Roku is showing them. I hope they don't take them off soon. For some reason this show isn't available on DVD or streaming to purchase.

I wish they would bring this show back and have new episodes but I know that won't happen.

I'm looking forward to coming across that episode.

I also used to watch the show during its heyday and likewise, so far have not seen an episode I can recall from back then.

I like the gimmick of the split second overlap between the younger and older versions of the same character as they start investigating a case. Often it seems, they use actors that make the aging process appear natural and credible.

I also like the final shot where the ghost of the victim in the case seems to appear, often smiling, appearing to have found peace, disappearing into oblivion. And of course, it's always accompanied by some great music from that era which seems relevant to the story.

Ditto on all 🙂

That's why I''m binging, LOL.
I just know that on a random Tuesday the episodes will be taken off.

For a long time, like Alley McBeal, the show couldn't go into syndication because it was hard to get the rights to certain music, because lets not be fooled they music also makes the episodes. Imagine using some generic song to accompany a scene, Nope.

I don't understand how a show like this goes off the air?
It's not like its original cast story line driven.
Each week we get a new story.

I can only watch so much at a time. I didn't even think that maybe it would be taken off but you're right, I guess it might.

It's so unfortunate we can't record it.
