Indy`s son should be cast by Matthew Davis... The two are so alike.
Watch "Below" (2002) and you will see what iu mean.

In fact I had seen 'BELOW'. He wouldn't be a bad fit actually.

That couldn't happen in 2022, well except if he was cast as a bad guy, a Nazi or something.

But he sure could be used in a reboot of indiana jones.

Eh I'd rather see an animated series instead of the films being rebooted.
