Mac possibly the worst thing about this

The character of Mac might be the worst thing about this film, which is saying something given it has a lot of poor moments and things to dislike. He's just so poorly written and scripted. I can't take him seriously on any level; as a good guy; as a bad guy; as the comic relief; as Indy's friend. Not to mention he makes a should-be-wiser Indy all the more foolish for letting him tag along after double-crossing him. I guess Indy has got stupider with age.

And WTF is with him going "Jonesy!", like some big baby calling out to his mother? It makes him sound like Indy's retarded brother who Indy has to take care of because he isn't all there in the head.
