This movie is going to be a cult hit
This movie did awful at the box office and the reviews; I have a feeling in about ten years this film will become a cult hit.

Agreed. I thought this was a very passable film. I keep hearing the studio butchered the editing process, so who knows how great it could have been.
Come with me if you want to live.
Should I just wait 25 years until the final cut comes out to the DVD of the future or is this film really worth watching?
shareIt's fine to watch, but you should't expect a Blade Runner
shareWow, such an irritating film, not because it's bad per say, but because underneath there is an absolutely awesome sci-fi, but it's so poorly edited and generally put together it falls completely flat of it's obvious potential, which for me personally just makes it unwatchable.
There must be a good half an hour missing due to poor editing at least.
I wasn't expecting a Blade Runner, and generally I didn't get one.
However I think I've found a film that'l have a very similar life to Blade Runner.
I'l be back in 25 years when the Directors Final Cut gets released. I'l see if the thread is still here to make comparisons :P
Few tiems have i antcipated watching a movie and have been so dissapointed after seeing it. The movie itself wasn't bad for the most part, but it looked like they rushed the ending. Perhaps, like others have pointed out, editing caused some confusion. But to me, it looked like girls in the hosp, girl gives birth, girl dies... thank you for coming.
"...insert corny quote here"
This is the best scenario this movie could expect. To become a cult classic.
I am for a Director's Cut, in order to release a movie closer to Mathieu Kassovitz's vision. Not the idiotical vision of Fox executives.

2022. Not a cult classic yet.
share2023 and it's still not a cult classic.
Maybe it needs more time to marinate.
Love Vin. Love the girl. This simply isn't a very good movie. It's got some real damn good scenes in it. But it needed the charisma of somebody like Kurt Russel to carry it. It's too serious in the wrong kind of ways.
