1. At the begining of the movie when Shooter accuses Mort of plegarism you see that Shooter placed the manuscipt (Paper) under a large rock (Rock) and after you find out that Mort and Shooter are one and the same he pulls a pair of scissors (Scissors) on Amy. Rock, Paper, Scissors anyone?

2. In the epilogue of the film. Mort is buying groceries from the local store and he picks up Morton Salt, which Morton is his first name and in the background of the salt logo, it is raining. Mort's name is Morton Rainey.

3. At the end of the credits you hear Johnny Depp singing a song in a John Shooter voice.

1. I noticed the rock was still there where Shooter had put it on the front porch when Amy got to the house at the end and wondered why he hadn’t moved it since then. At that point, he thought it was another person ( although I knew better).

2. I noticed what he was buying but didn’t put it with Morton’s Salt. Nice one. I wondered if he was gonna make popcorn because he had salt, butter and the napkins too.

3. I stayed to hear this, thank you. It comes right after the music credits, so very end. I noticed that they credited Talking Heads for Depp’s use of two lines from Once In A Lifetime and I noticed credit to Shortnin Bread, a song from the 1800s which I hadn’t heard. Then Depp chimes in with two lines of Shortnin Bread. Then it’s done.
