Underrated???

This film didn't get great reviews and appeared as average critically and commercially with no amazing reviews and no terrible ones either, only scoring an average 7.4 on IMDB aswell. Also a decent box office run leads me to believe this film should have done better...

Watching this film it's easy to note the beautiful cinematography from the start, an expert soundtrack defiantly one of my favourites I've heard in a while. An uplifting one story with a clear message and devotion to the outline. Some might find it boring at points and not what they'd expect from a ben stiller film as the laughs aren't constant but they're still there and high quality when they do arrive. This film was interesting start to finish and quite relatable at times. I feel like I've seen various films in the TOP 250 that didn't have a lot of these aspects which are needed to make a good film.

But this is all my opinion and I'm just some guy staring at a screen somewhere in the world so what do I know? But there's someone out there he feels this cute little uplifting tale was also under appreciated by many.

Underrated? Indeed.

I think it's a bit sloppy at times but has some very funny moments. I think it's randomness might put some folk off.
I think 7 is about right.

Extremely underrated.

Gorgeous scenery, the character is extremely relatable, really hit me in the feels. Really saw myself in this.

i'm a grown man. my top 5 favorite movies have for the longest time included the following:
Predator
The Professional
The Goonies
The Shawshank Redemption

quintessential movies, at the tops in their category for either action, story, nostalgia, or just generally regarded as an excellent film. i say that to say this. i'm debating putting in The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty in at number 5. this movie just made me feel really good and want to experience life more. we only get one chance at this thing.

It's one of the very few critically ravaged movies that I have absolutely adored. Except for some unnecessary stuff like product placement and the Benjamin Button scene. Something about this movie, whenever I feel down, this movie sort of cheers me up. Truly this movie reflects the quintessence of life perfectly.

The product placement doesn't bother me because I feel like it makes the movie more realistic and relatable. I don't care for the Benjamin Button scene either but that's the only part. It's one of my favourite movies and has been since the day I saw it in the theatre shortly after release. It's a beautiful portrayal of how amazing life can be. And so many great lines in this movie. My absolute favourite scene is when Walter imagines Cheryl singing Major Tom in the bar as he decides to jump on the helicopter. Walter Mitty is an inspiration :)
