anyone else prefer Jennifer Garner over Elodie Yung in the role?

I don't know about you guys, but I fucking hated Elodie Yung as Elektra in Netflix's Daredevil. I thought she came off looking way too smug and forced whenever she tried to be a badass. It sorta reminds me of Anne Hathaway's take on Catwoman, it just came off like she was trying too hard. None of her mannerisms seemed natural.

I never read the comics so I don't know how faithful Jennifer Garner's portrayal here is but either way, I think she did a better job in the role. She at least came off naturally cool and confident whereas Elodie doesn't, to me at least. Garner rocks the costume too. Yung's just looked bland and uninspired, almost like something out of Bryan Singer's X-Men.

Anyone else agree?

Garner was embarrassing. Yung was inspired. She did a masterful job and her chemistry with Cox mirrors their relationship in the comic beautifully.

We disagree to an extreme. If I knew you, I'd lend you the original Daredevil comics from which the story came (that also ignited the entire TMNT craze and Tick)
