Hydaspes battle version without the stupid red filter?

I seem to be one of those rare people who love this film.

But one major thing that annoys me, is that last battle against King Porus and the elephants. When Alexander was facing the elephant and was wounded, Stone decided to colour the next 10mins with a confusing, distracting bright cerise filter!!!!!!!!!

Have any other versions of this scene been released since?
