My theatre teacher recommended it to me, and for awhile I was super excited to see it. But soon my excitement turned to horror. This movie was dreadful. Ugh.
The best part was Sondheim, which was only like 4 seconds of him!
If you're going to get a theater ICON for a sucky movie, why not use him to their full advantage?
I would have rather watched an hour and forty minutes of Sondheim just sitting.
Anyone like this monstrosity?

Call me the inevitable exception to the rule but I liked it. I was particularly impressed by the performances, I had the feeling I was watching the next generation of Hollywood and Broadway movers and shakers coming of age.
