How old are you people who have seen it?

I've been hearing comments that this movie is for "old people". I guess that's because most of the actors are older, but still. Like, I'm 15 and I loved it. Partly because Jeremy Irons is my idol. So how old was everyone when they saw it?

reply

i was 12 when i saw it.
i was flipping through the channels on HBO and decided to watch it.
none of my friends have seen it, but i think its excellent.

I am 26 and watched it with great delight - a film for older people, what is this supposed to mean?? :O

It is a bit different in terms of telling the story/presenting things, but this does not make it passe or anything of the kind.
It is a very funny, very witty, very well-acted movie.

I'm 28 and only watched it because it was on HBO one a boring saturday. I seen the end first and this past weekend seen the beginning and I adore it. I don't know why this would be considered an over 40 movie, I think this is a movie for people who like this time period. I love all the actors too, it's just a beautiful movie.

i'm 20, but i was 19 when i saw it. i LOVE Jeremy Irons, he isn't in this enough. Miriam Magoyles is great too, and so is Anette.

reply

I'm 20, and I watched it because I think Jeremy Irons is a total dish.

Im 24. Just saw the film on TV (missed the first 10 or so mins). I actually loved it for the fact it was about the theater/actors reality even though apparently for a different time and I have to say I liked it. Always interesting to see how a big actor manouvers between the two realities. Benning was great.
