What was the symbolism behind that? Was it watch out, fame cuts?! I guess Howard did not like granting interviews at film premieres. His responsones were so lame.
shareWell, those bulbs could only be used once, and they were extremely hot after firing, so photographers used to throw them on the floor before changing to a new bulb. That is why Marty showed us that. It's a fun detail and created a manic atmosphere.
Perhaps there is some symbolism as well, and what you offered is an interesting interpretation.
