Is 30 such a desirable age?

Just wondering, because I'm not really looking forward to turning 30.....

I'll be 35 this summer, and I can say without a doubt that my 30s have been the best years of my life. I had an incredible time in college, and enjoyed my 20s a lot, but there's no comparison to my 30s. I've enjoyed them tremendously, and wouldn't go back to a younger age for anything.

Yes..I like this movie, even if it silly and isn't the best film ever, Jennifer Garner is so adorable and there are so many things I relate to...But this was the only thing of the whole movie I couldn't let pass...I mean 30??? So old? I can deal with 24..you are out of college and practically free.

You are so right. I'm 21 and about to graduate college, and I am looking forward to be being free.

Teenage years and 20s sucked for me as I had low esteem, was restricted to working for my parents and going to school, and generally people treated me like dirt.

my 30s are the best so far besides being a preteen. I didn't gain some confidence until I was 29. I was less of a spineless dork and put up with less crap by the time I was 30. 30s are the best for me personally and it's only getting better.

Funny watching this movie (13 going on 30) and see Chris Grandy at his older age. It seems like lot of popular kids peak too early in looks and don't age well at all...

Actually, yes. At least, it was for me (I am 34 now). When I turned 30, I reached a point in my life when I didn't have the youth incecurities anymore (and I had a lot of them in my 20s), gained confidence, started to feel that I am really standing on my own now and, at the same time, I saw that the my whole life was still ahead of me. Time to set new goals and make plans for the future (and I do not mean settling down, having children, etc.)

And when I was 17, I, like many others, thought what a tragedy it would be when I reach the old age of 30. I actually thought I would commit suicide when I turn 29 not to let that happen

I'm 28 this year and I'd give anything to be a teenager again. But I wouldn't want to be a teenager in today's world, I'd want to go back to the late 90s, early 00s when I was 16-18. Those were the best years of my life, I loved them, I still get nostalgic. When I was around 12 or 13 though I did find myself wishing I was 18 but believe me, once you reach 21 you don't want to get any older than that. I'm dreading turning 30 and I imagine Jenna probably realised it was frickin stupid to want to be 30 by the time she turned 25.

Yes, 30 is a great age! I'm 50 and I was worried about reaching that milestone. But 50 is good too!

I did think it was odd for a 13-year-old to want to turn 30 as that age sounds old to most 13-year-olds, I think. I could see 25 or 18.

But in reality, at 30, you're starting to feel more comfortable with adulthood and learning how to succeed in life. For many of us, our 20s are a time of transition and learning. It's a great time of life, but by the time you're 30, you're ready to stop learning and start living.

Life is what you make it, no matter what age you're at!

who is looking forward to getting old?:))

nobody...every age has it upsides and it's downsides

make the most of every age and you'll be 90 you'll actually have something to tell your grandchildren

i never wished to be any age...mostly because i didn't gave to much thought...but now that i think of...i think i would really like to be a kid again

no care in the world, my mom feeding me, cartoons all day long(not these ones today...those old ones), playing and sleeping

sadly...now i'm old...and i have to work my butt of for some $...i have to cook my self, i don't even have the time to download a movie not to mention playing...thank god i still have my sleeping hours.

I'm 19, and I wish I was still 12. That makes me kind of weird, yes, but life was so much better back then. Every time a birthday comes around I secretly freak out. I'm dreading being 30. Hell, I'm dreading being 20.

I only do it with superheroes.

I'm 36 and the adult world is mostly about working and paying the bills. Much as I like this movie, I admit that they didn't really get into that. The movie seemed to be more about the "glamorous" aspects of adulthood.
