confused... order?

Not sure what order the segments should be watched in. I like the Matrix series, but I don't have it memorized or anything, so I'm not really sure. The order they play on the dvd is different than the supposed cinema order (I know, attached to other movies), the release order are all different, then wikipedia has them listed a different way. So is there a "correct" or even chronological order to watch them in? Or does it just not matter?

I don’t think it really matters. I have this on dvd, the one released way back when, and I find it perfectly enjoyable to watch them in the order as presented there. They are all their own self-contained stories, so you can watch them in any order you want, imho. I don’t think they were meant to have a chronological sense, they just add layers to the Matrix universe.
