shareNot from what I have seen so far. Although he does less in the audition process, and more when they actually get to Hollywood.
shareThey might just be shooting this thing on a shoestring. He usually opens the show, there's usually a lot of introductory chit chat, him shouting to the camera and then the shot sweeps out to show all the cheering contestants, he's usually present at the audition process and talking with all the people in the big rooms, he's usually outside the door waiting to see who gets a golden ticket and conduct the exit interviews. He's absent for all this stuff and is mostly featured in voice over and the commercial tie-in segments. Maybe it was shot this way cause he's juggling 20 jobs right now. IDK
