yes it was horrible, but keep in mind it was a disney channel movie and meant for younger kids. the first time it aired on disney channel, i watched it and i loved it,b/c i was in like fifth grade. i mean its a terrible movie but probably not any worse than that wendy warrior girl or whoever they have doing disney channel movies now lol.

Lighten up a bit. The worst movie Lindsay did was probably Life-Size. It was so lame! Tyra Banks was AWFUL! I think Get a Clue would be better if they hired someone else to play Lexy. Mean Girls is probably her best movie, because Lindsay's a MUCH better actress when she's older. Lindsay Lohan was a TERRIBLE actress as a child. She sounds like an emotionless robot. If not, she sounds like she's reading her lines right off the script.
Heaythurr, I totally agree with you that Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior is a totally lame movie.

Cadet Kelly was way better than this crap!!!

reply

i beg your pardon!!! Get a clue was way better than Cadet Kelly.

ohh people just get over it. it's a disney made for tv movie, not some huge life changing motion picture..

and anyway, i thought it was cute :)

reply

I thought the movie was cute too! So why do all of you bother taking the time to write nasty comments about a movie you did not like! That just drives me insane! Post comments about movies that actually mean something to you.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE...IM WATCHING IT RIGHT NOW =)

reply

The movie was okayyyy.

It was just really unrealistic to me, but some of it is funny.
I don't like how some of the stuff in the movie had no effect on the plot or anything.

reply

oh my god you guys all need to chill out.
*beep*

LOL I don't know why I'm responding, but I just woke up and was outta it from partying last night so I was going through the channels and was like hmm that looks like Lindsay Lohan, so I had to watch it since it was a old movie Lindsay Lohan was in that I hadn't seen (sick of seeing the Parent Trap on tv anyway). The movie was fine definitely not worse ever and actually I was also surprised to see Ian Gomez in it, that guy is really funny! He was in the Norm show which is like the best sitcom ever next to Seineld.

Late. Oh yeah Lindsay's outfits were really outlandish, but some of them were cute.

This is exactly why I enjoy movies from the early 20th century so much, acting actually took talent and skill!

For whatever reason I've been on a kick of looking at IMDB pages for older Disney Channel Original movies (guess I'm feeling somewhat sentimental), and while this one was never a favorite I do remember it sticking out in my mind strongly. I guess because it's marketing on the Disney Channel was so darn huge with ads and that Prozzak music video playing for what seemed like every five minutes. So back when I was ten and the only three channels I watched were Disney, Cartoon Network, and Nickelodeon I naturally saw a lot of it. As said before I don't remember loving it or even really liking it that much, but I remember it being watchable. Though again I was ten years old, only really knew three TV stations, and it was during the summer so I had too much time on my hands and haven't seen it probably since the year it came out. Now I am actually kind of morbidly curious to look back on it since I can only remember parts of it (as well as some other DCOM's I remember from when I was a kid). Strange thing is I don't remember being a huge fan of a lot of them, but my exposure to them as a child even in a somewhat more passive sense still gives them something of an impact on me now in a nostalgic sense because they were there back in the "salad days" as it were and entertained even a little. Interesting how life, nostalgia, and entertainment works.

EDIT: Wow, apparently a lot of films I thought were DCOM's I guess were not even those at all.

The biggest turn-off for me, when this was on, was that Lindsay Blowhan was running around in appallingly awful clothes in the commercials, and I only watched the movie in pieces. A mystery involving a missing teacher (who was in love with an ugly female teacher), a giant yellow diamond, and a girl who apparently gets dressed in the dark, don't make for a good film. That, and her boyfriend had the fakest New York City accent I ever heard in my life.
