He wasn't, if you look at pics when he was a teen, he looked OK actually.
shareI just googled pictures of Abegnale as a teen. Much to my surprise he had a DiCaprio-esque mop of blonde hair, and wasnt bad-looking at all. He kinda looked like Leonardo DiCaprio's butcher, less photogenic brother.
I'm no fan of DiCaprio, but he was well cast in this one
Tbh I don't like Dicaprio at all and am far from a fan of his but I like a lot of his films, this included.
