Freddy got Fingered or the Room?

Although both movies are entirely different type of movies they remind me of each other in similar ways. Both were critically panned failures upon their releases and deemed as some of the worst movies of all time. Both leads (Tom Green/Tommy Wiseau) starred, directed, and wrote their movies. Both became cult classics over the years.
