peter sarsgaard's amazing performance

Peter Sarsgaard was a standout in this otherwise mediocre movie. He looked truly heartbroken when he confronted Val Kilmer's character about not liking him. I wish Mr. Sarsgaard was in more movies, he's a great actor.

I loved his performance too. I loved it when he said, "thanks for not laughing at me". So sweet!

I watched the DVD extras and they mentioned that Sarsgaard's character was based on a real life tweaker they met while doing research for the film. This tweaker told them that he originally got into meth so he would fit in with the group and they would like him. The film maker liked the guy so much, he created the Jimmy the Finn character.

Yes, he was great, even more than usual.

🐺 Boycott movies that involve real animal violence (& their directors) 🐾

In the end, it was all about friendship, wasn't it?

I agree I think he's very good.
