It never really said where the hotel was located. "Last Resort" I think it was called.. Like you, it obviously was meant to be somewhere just on the outskirts of town as they seemed to be very convenient to Vegas from there. The hotel itself (at least the name of it anyway) is obviously fictitious as there doesn't seem to be any motels in Nevada with that exact name. I'm curious too as to where those scenes were shot..

Hello General, now I have not watched 3,000 Miles to Graceland in
several months so here's my question:

Regarding Franklin, how did he get shot up so badly? Was it by the
hotel security, cops or did his colleagues just manage to
shoot him accidentally? I was so surprised the first time upon
seeing this film that he died so early on in the script. And
then his partners in crime just tossed his body out of the
helicopter!!! The plus side to his death of course is that
there was one less person to divide up the share of all of
the stolen loot. And the minus side is that his death scene
just reinforced the Hollywood movie stereotype that either
the black guy or the person of color is the first one killed!
Looking forward to your reply.

Why is it so bad?

reply

Other than a clever premise / some clever moments-lines - it's too damn tedious too often.

House: I have been on a date before.
Wilson: Not since disco died.
