Ben Affleck tried to shoot open the hatch on his plane, but when he does crash into the ocean and push it open, the bullet holes are gone.

I watched the movie yesterday. What I observed was that when his plane crashed, you still could see the sun, when he managed to escape from the plane it was already pretty dark.

Thats not a goof either. The sunset happens very quickly in China

Its not a goof. Those kind of planes were able to self repair bullet holes in flight

How do you know you were the only one to notice it. Maybe Ridley Scott noticed it too.
