In your opinion, is this a movie you have to own or is this a movie that you would just watch on tv if it was on?
shareYes. I own it and just love this movie so much. It's so funny. I don't own Meet The Fockers yet. I don't know if I'll buy it or not. But this first one is definitely a must own in my book. It's a classic comedy.

shareYes, a must own. I saw it in the theater the day it was released and laughed throughout the whole film with my friends. The whole theater loved it. I watch the blu-ray every 2 or 3 years and it's great every time
shareI made the mistake of renting this ... I hated it. I hate all movies like this. They are not funny, the events are contrived, the humor is juvenile ... there is nothing redeeming about them, and they are usually just very badly done.
I contrast that with a movie like Parenthood, the first one anyway, it was very similar in style and substance, but it was funny, and human, and connected well with the audience. These movies are just hoaky .... or is it hokey?
