I can't figure out why Jimmy Kimmel was picked to host the celebrity Who Wants To Be A Millionaire revival in the first place. Because he seems to have made himself a huge household name for ABC ever since he started hosting his late night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live and just as CBS had David Letterman. Jimmy Kimmel thinks that he will become like James Corden now and considering this is Jimmy's second game show for ABC "Jimmy's ABC debut game show Set For Life was his first" Jimmy Kimmel thinks that his brain is saying "here I am world I do wish to be more popular with my audience in the game show industry". On the Millionaire revival I saw part of it yesterday and I do wish they had more big name celebrities on it but the weakest link of the show is that with the exception of Dr. Phil ABC used the stars from their own sitcoms like Eric Stonestreet who I was only familiar with from the Disney cartoon Sofia The First where he voiced Minimus the horse. But it seemed like they put Eric as a contestant simply to promote the Modern Family finale. But at least the original music from the Regis Philbin Millionaire is intact so i'll give ABC a high five for that reason alone. But they should've picked someone better to host this revival or even brought Chris Harrison back to host this version of Millionaire. But from now on stick to reruns of the Chris Harrison version and the original Regis Philbin version to watch to see how Millionaire should be done
