Why did Witchita like Wendy exactly?

It's been years since I've seen this, but something that never really made sense to me was why Witchita had such a strong draw to Wendy? She wasn't the prettiest girl there (Pixel was), she wasn't the smartest (Talia was), she wasn't funny or interesting (Talia, Pixel). She was just superficial and phony. It just didn't make sense to me.
I'm not even saying that Witchita was such a great catch, but at least they described his allure in the whole reclusive, pseudo-philosophical (emphasis on the pseudo), mysteriousness he slathered on himself every morning like cologne.

Bender: No! I want to live! There are still too many things I don't own!

Yeah good question.. it really doesnt make sense.

i think on the page, Wendy was supposed to be the prettiest.. but it was cast wrong. Jaime King was literally so beautiful that it messed it all up.

Tell sanchito that if he knows what is good for him he best go run and hide

You could also ask why Pixel was drawn to Wendy, and why Donald was drawn to Wendy. Dominique Swain's good looks are generally considered part of the reason for her success, and I found her much more attractive than Jaime King in this movie.

Define 'liked'. He just wanted to spend a pleasant summer. He didn't want to marry her or anything.
