Never knew about The Beginning or Dominion

There may be spoilers. I just saw the new Exorcist movie (2023) last week. Decided to see how many movies were made based off the original. I'm currently watching Dominion. I watched Beginning last night. It's like dejavu. Pretty much the same story but remade for whatever reason. I'm noticing Dominion is more drama, where Beginning is more horror. The Beginning was an okay film but I didn't like the rushed ending or the way they made Sarah look possessed. It was so unscary. And the bad CGI of her running down the tunnel was laughable and for sure not scary. It was lame. I'm hoping Dominion is going to be better. I heard it was. So far I'm not impressed. It's boring, Sarah's character is not good. The special effects are bad but I realize it didn't have a big a budget like The Beginning.

STUDIO DIDN'T LIKE THE DIRECTION OF THE FILM SO THEY FIRED THE DIRECTOR AND BROUGHT IN RENNY HARLIN TO RESHAPE THE FILM...IT BOMBED...HARD...SO THE STUDIO BROUGHT THE ORIGINAL DIRECTOR BACK TO FINISH HIS ORIGINAL VERSION...WHICH ALSO BOMBED.

They're not the greatest movies but are watchable. I've been going through the franchise again and am about to watch The Beginning. I like Dominion better. A much more interesting film. My favorite one though, is Exorcist 3. The book (Legion) is great too.
