Brad Pitt should have done Mark Rufallo's role

he would have been sooo much better than him. He wasn't very good. Pitt's more talented people.

Brad Pitt is the greatest!!!!

mark ruffalo is head and shoulders above brad pitt as an actor. brad pitt is not bad. but mark ruffalo is on another level as an actor. movies like "in the cut" and "you can count on me" show how versatile ruffalo is as an actor. even in movies like "rumor has it" and "13 going on 30", where mark ruffalo is not the main character, he is compelling to watch on screen. there is just no comparing the two actors. mark ruffalo was perfect as terry.

I am not knocking Brad Pitt, he has done some good stuff. But Mark was perfect in this role - he embodies Terry so well. It's my favorite of all of his performances. I can't imagine that Brad could have done even half of what Mark did with the role.

Not a hope in hell. Brad Pitt would have ruined this movie. I'm not even a huge fan of Mark Ruffalo, but he was perfectly cast and gave his best performance to date. His chemistry with Laura Linney was priceless. Anyone else would have just been plain wrong imo.

Are you kidding, Pixie, Pitt is a bad actor (with a few exceptions). Nowhere would he have been near as good as Ruffalo in the movie.

Jesus *beep* christ! I didn't need to read this one! Do you know anything about movies or acting? I guess not!

i love idiotic posts.

i thought mark was perfect for this role. he did an excellent job. there was something in the way he smoked.... sigh. he shows his acting chops in this film; i really hope he goes on to better roles than what he has been doing.

i must say though, i don't believe brad pitt deserves all this abuse. A River Runs Through It continues to be one of my favorite films, and he was just perfect in that. he's done some excellent films, but also some not so great ones... way it goes.

Pitt should stick with what he is good at.
